The Missing Leg

The MissingLeg is the culmination of over 25 shared years of production and hospitality experience in California’s Central Coast wine industry.  Karl and Heidi Wicka have witnessed first hand the unbelievable coming of age of Paso Robles as a world renowned wine destination.  We have developed an awesome respect for dozens of central coast appellations that surround Paso Robles.  Our knowledge comes not only from consuming the wines (which we have done plenty of), but  we have also been integral members some of Paso’s most respected production houses.

2008 Kruse Vineyard Pinot Noir 25 cases produced

Complex and delicate, the 2008 Kruse Vineyard is a co-fermented blend of some of the many Pinot Noir clones planted at this gorgeous coastal mountain ranch. Strawberry and sandalwood have a strong presence in this wine, framed by subtle French oak and the unique terroir of this site.

At the end of the Santa Lucia Mountain Range, the Kruse Vineyard is strategically located in the "Templeton Gap". Only a few miles from the ocean, it retains a coastal influence hard to come by in the Paso Robles AVA. Family planted in 1997, Doug and Sabrina Kruse continue to farm this gem of a vineyard with meticulous craftsmanship and love. We are thrilled to offer this truly magical vineyard designate wine.
