A Party For Your Palate is a full service food company. We provide services from Personal/Private chef to full service on site catering. We specialize in the foods you want to have, not what’s on our menu. Everything we do is custom made for your event and made from scratch with the finest ingredients. And like the name says, the food is designed to be A Party For Your Palate! Food is to be savored, experienced and enjoyed; that is our simple philosophy.
When we’re not busy catering or working in someone’s home, we offer classes on all kinds of culinary topics. These demonstration classes are held in a chef’s kitchen in the winter, and outdoors on warm summer evenings.
Bruce Finch, the owner and head chef, has spent most of his adult life in the kitchen, learning, playing and experimenting on his willing friends. When it became time for a change in careers after 25 years in technology, he enrolled in Culinary School to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. After graduating at the top of his class, he and his wife started their catering company and have never looked back.
Kris Finch, C.S. graduated at the top of her class in the school of Baking and Pastry and provides the majority of the pastry needs for the company. Also, Kris returned to school to complete her Certification as a Wine Sommelier. As a result, we also specialize in wine pairing events: dinners, cocktail parties, receptions and even wine education classes.
We wanted to create a company that reflected our motto that Food is the Center of the Social Universe. We hope you think we have succeeded. Come and find out for yourself!
