Chef Jeff Wiesinger first discovered the amazing wines and food pairing possibilities of the Central Coast during the many trips he would take to visit his father, who moved to Paso Robles in 2004. After three years of visiting the area and experiencing the wine festivals, wonderful people and beautiful surroundings, he moved to Paso Robles in May 2007. His dream was to start a Personal Chef & Catering Business in wine country where he could be closer to his family. Living on the the Central Coast, he could have access to the finest produce and farm fresh ingredients, pair his food with great local wines and surround himself with other people who are passionate about wine and the wine country lifestyle.
Jeffry believes that food and wine are an important part of our lives and when paired together can create a truly unique tasting experience. His approach to food is to create flavorful dishes that are healthy, delicious and beautifully presented. He calls it “Globally Influenced, Wine Country Cuisine” and is inspired by the Mediterranean cooking traditions of Provence, Tuscany and California as well as South America, the Caribbean Islands and many of America’s own great food regions. He looks at wine as being the final ingredient to each dish. When they come together in harmony, the flavors of the food and the wine can tantalize your pallet, creating a truly memorable experience.
As a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management, Chef Jeff brings over 20 years of cooking experience and a strong passion for the culinary and hospitality industries to Paso Robles and Templeton, where he now lives. He has worked at some of the most acclaimed ski and summer resorts in the country, including Vail and Steamboat Springs, CO, Heavenly and Mammoth Mountain, CA, Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks.
